A green city - Edinburgh from Blackford Hill - Summer

£150.00

Edinburgh has seven hills. All give different perspectives on this wonderful city. This is a summer view from Blackford Hill looking over the city, with Arthurs Seat and Salisbury Crads in the distance. Beyond them is the River Forth and the Kingdom of Fife. One of my favourite views of Edinburgh and the Forth - looking northeast from the Pentland Hills. What surprised me was how green the south of the city is. From here one can see as many trees as houses.

An original painting in gouache

Size: 35.5 cm x 18 cm (on 42 cm x 30 cm paper)

Painted on smooth, heavyweight paper of 220 g/m2

Sold unframed

Price includes shipping within the UK
